Privacy Policy
Profila analyzes professional profiles and generates resumes with the help of artificial intelligence. This policy explains which data we process and why.
Data we process and legal bases
- Account data (name and email), managed by our authentication provider (Clerk) — legal basis: contract performance.
- Analyzed profile data: the content of the PDF you upload (LinkedIn export or resume) or, on paid plans, public information from the profile URL you provide, obtained through a specialized data provider — legal basis: consent, collected before each analysis. We never ask for your LinkedIn password.
- Payment data: processed entirely by Stripe; we don't store card numbers. Billing records are kept for as long as legal and tax obligations require.
- IP address: used transiently for abuse prevention (rate limiting, via Upstash) — legal basis: legitimate interest in security.
Purpose and processors
Profile data is used exclusively to generate your analysis, job fits and resumes. Our processors: Anthropic (Claude AI models — your data is not used to train models), Vercel (hosting, generated files and cookieless audience metrics), Neon (database), Clerk (authentication), Upstash (rate limiting), AbacatePay (payments) and the public-profile data provider.
Flash fit (free tool)
The flash fit requires a free account and counts as the fit included in the Free plan. Text pasted into this tool is not stored: it is processed to generate the result and discarded.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, port and delete your data. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time in Settings → Delete account. Deletion permanently removes analyses, fits, generated resumes (including PDF/DOCX files), profile data and payment records linked to your account on the platform.
